Inter-dept TT contest begins at RU

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Apr 19: The annual Inter-department Table Tennis (TT) tournament has begun at Rajshahi University (RU) campus, says a press release.
Addressing as the chief guest, the Pro-Vice Chancellor Chowdhury Sarwar Jahan Sajol inaugurated the contest at an informal function at university central gymnasium on Saturday.
Chowdhury Maniruzzaman, director of RU Physical Education Department attended the programme as special guest with president of inter-department games sub-committee Prof. Abu Baqar Md. Ismail in the chair.
The opening match was held between English and Philosophy department where English department won the game.
A total of 14 teams are participating in the tournament.
