Inter-ministerial meeting on World Hockey League held

An inter-ministerial meeting was held Monday at the Youth and Sports Ministry conference room for successfully hosting World Hockey League round 1 schedule to be held on September 5-7 at the Moulana Bhasnai National Hockey Stadium, reports BSS.
With State Minister for Youth and Sports Sri Biren Sikder in the chair the meeting was addressed, among others, by Chief of Bangladesh Air Force and President of Hockey Federation Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari and Secretary of Youth and Sports Noor Mohammad.
In the meeting, the state minister sought cooperation from the representatives of concerned ministries, associations and divisions to make the events a success. The representatives assured the state minister to do their duty properly.
The meeting also emphasised the need for proper security of the invited local and foreign guests, players and officials during the tournament.
In the meeting, representatives of Youth and Sports Ministry, Foreign
Ministry, Home Ministry, Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, Information Ministry, Power, Post and Telecommunication Ministry, Finance Ministry, Local Government Division, Power Division, Commerce Division, Health and Family Welfare Ministry, Dhaka City Corporation, Hockey Federation and Bangladesh Olympic Association were also present.
