Internal buyers lend more support

There was a stronger demand in the week for all varieties particularly the end of season types. Internal buyers lent more support particularly the Loose tea trade. Pakistan showed more interest for the plainest types. Dusts sold well at generally easier rates.
CTC LEAF: 20,519 packages on offer met with a strong demand at dearer rates.
BROKENS: A handful of clean liquoring varieties on offer were a strong market and were dearer by Tk 3.0 to Tk 4.0 and these sold between Tk 128 and Tk 138. Medium varieties were mostly firm whilst the plainest varieties were much dearer and appreciated considerably.
FANNINGS: Here again a few clean good liquoring Fannings were a strong market and were dearer by Tk 2.0 to Tk 5.0 and these could be quoted between Tk 137 and Tk 142. Medium Fannings were firm to dearer particularly plainer types, which advanced quite substantially.

A few lines of good liquoring varieties were sold well at around last levels, occasionally tending dearer particularly the CDs whilst all others were easier in the with quality.
