Int\\\'l Mother Language Day observed in Sweden

Bangladesh embassy in Stockholm, Sweden observed 'Shaheed Dibash' and International Mother Language Day on February 21 with due respect and solemnity, reports BSS.
The day's programmes began with hoisting of national flag at the embassy.
The other programmes included paying homage to the memory of the martyrs of the language movement by placing wreaths at the altar of 'Shaheed Minar', discussion, cultural functions and reading out the messages of President Md Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali.
