Int\\\'l Tourism Fair begins in Ctg Dec 18

A three-day international tourism fair- Chittagong Travel Mart-2014 begins in the port city of Chittagong on Thursday. Premier travel publication --The Bangladesh Monitor-- is arranging the fair for the sixth time. Organisations from home and abroad, including airlines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, amusement parks and organisations, providing tourism related services, will be exhibiting their products and services in the fair. Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, Mr. Rashed Khan Menon, MP will inaugurate the fair as Chief Guest, while Mr. Mahbubul Alam, President, Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be present as Special Guest. A total of 19 organisations from home and abroad are taking part in this Fair. They are . United Airways, Malindo Air, The Peninsula Chittagong, Long Beach Hotel, Grand Sultan Tea Resort, Nagar Valley Hotel, Valley Garden Hotel, Hotel The Cox Today, Amazing Tours, Best Bangla Tours, Honeymoon Tours, THR Immigration, Make My Trip, Holiday Xpress, Rose View Hotel, Classic Tours, Rainbow Guest House etc.
All the participating organisations will be offering special discounted fair for airline tickets, hotel and resort accommodations, tour packages etc. during the fair. To be held at The Peninsula Chittagong, the fair will be open daily from December 18 to 20 from 10.30 am to 8 pm and there will be no entry fee, according to a statement.
