Inu for environment-friendly dev policies

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Saturday underscored the need for adopting environment-friendly sustainable development policies fitted with Information Communication Technology (ICT) to face the climate change challenges. The minister was speaking at the inauguration of 2nd National Conference on Community-based Adaptation to Climate Change (NCAB2) at Gulshan in the capital. Inu said they need to have a three-tier synergy -- domestic, regional and global -- in order to formulate viable and successful strategies for community-based adaptation to climate change, according to a news agency.
