Inu, Palak, two others shown arrested in fresh cases

A Dhaka court has showed four people, including former information minister Hasanul Haque Inu and former state minister for industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, arrested in fresh cases lodged over crimes committed during the July Uprising, reports BSS.
The other arrestees are former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak and former deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Md Shahidullah.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Dilruba Afroz Tithi passed the orders on Wednesday as police produced the four before the court and pleaded to show them arrested in the cases.
Of the four, Inu and Palak were shown arrested in Ranjan Miah killing case filed with Rampura Police Station, Kamal Majumder was shown arrested in schoolboy Shahriar Hasan Alvi killing case filed with Mirpur Model Police Station.
