Inu remanded for seven days

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President Hasanul Haq Inu, who was arrested over the killing of a trader during the quota reform protests, has been placed on remand, reports bdnews24.com.
On Tuesday, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ali Haider placed him on a 7-day remand for interrogation.
Former information minister Inu was arrested in Uttara on Monday for the death of the trader named Abdul Wadud in the capital's New Market area during the Anti-discrimination Student Movement.
Police filed a petition to remand Inu for 10 days for questioning On Tuesday.
Pro-BNP lawyers protested with eggs in their hands and pockets before Inu was brought to the court premises.
