Inu urges Bangladeshi-born UK citizens to invest in country

Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu has urged the Speaker of Tower Hamlets Council in the United Kingdom Sabina Akhter to encourage the Bangladeshi born British citizens to invest Bangladesh.
The information minister made the appeal while the Speaker of the Tower Hamlets paid a courtesy call on him at the Information Ministry in the capital on Sunday, reports BSS.
Chairman of the Centre for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRB) M S Shokil and NRB member Fakor Ali were present during the call.
Hasanul Haque Inu said Bangladeshi-born British citizens earned great recognition from their government for their enormous contributions to the British economy.
"This is the high time for them to invest in Bangladesh as Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina created a fantastic environment for the foreign investors, Inu added.
Tower Hamlets Speaker Sabina Akhter agreed with the information minister and invited him to visit London.
