Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Wednesday urged the media to identify the patrons of militants. He said the militants have no humanitarian sense and respect for the constitution. “So, they’ve emerged as a biggest threat to the country’s politics and public life.” The minister was addressing a roundtable styled ‘Security to the National and Public Life: Media’ at the Jatiya Press Club. Weekly ‘Natun Katha' arranged the programme marking its 35th founding anniversary. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon also spoke at the function held with the editor of the weekly, Hazera Sultana MP, in the chair. Speaking as the chief guest, Inu said the free flow of information helped expedite the trial process of the recent sensational incidents, including that in Narayanganj and Feni, according to a news agency.
