Investiture ceremony of GOC held in Khulna

Investiture ceremony of General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 19 Infantry Division Major General Mohammad Mahboob Haider Khan as the 4th 'Colonel Commandant' of Army Service Corps (ASC) and Remount Veterinary & Farm Corps (RV&FC) was held at ASC Centre and School, Jahanabad Cantonment, Khulna on Sunday, says an ISPR press release.
Senior most Commanding Officer of the Corps Lt. Colonel Md Nurul Alam and senior most Master Warrant Officer Honourary Lieutenant Kul Chandra Sarkar adorned Major General Mohammad Mahboob Haider Khan with the badges of the 'Colonel Commandant' on the occasion.
Then, the newly appointed 'Colonel Commandant' addressed a Darbar to all military and civil members of the ASC and RV&FC.
Besides, 'Colonel Commandant Major General Mohammad Mahboob Haider Khan' inspected Quarter Guard and paid homage to the martyrs of the War of Liberation after placing floral wreath at the Songsoptak.
Among others, high civil and military officers were present on the occasion.
