The 3rd Bangladesh Investment Summit, Asia to be held on September 1 in Singapore will put thrust on FDI requirements and developing the capital markets in Bangladesh.
Organisers expect nearly 300 attendees comprising of government representatives; multilateral financiers; rating agencies; portfolio managers; global asset managers; institutional investors; private banks; principals from private equity and hedge funds; CEOs, MDs, CFOs from Bangladesh-based corporate; CEO, MD, CIO & Heads of Research from Asia-based securities/ brokerages.
FinanceAsia in association with AsianInvestor will arrange the event.
Standard Chartered Bank and The City Bank Limited are Platinum Sponsors of the event while other partial sponsors include BRAC EPL, BRAC Bank and DFDL.
According to the organisers, the day-long summit aims to examine the trade and investment opportunities for Asia-based asset managers, private banks, family offices, private equity firms and corporations into Bangladesh's emerging market.
