FE ReportThe investors demanding Prime Minister's direct intervention to stabilise the capital market suspended their 'fast-unto-death' strike for a week.
The president of 'Bangladesh Capital Market Investors Oikkya Parisad (BCMIOP) Mizan-Ur-Rashid Chowdhury announced to suspend their programme Tuesday evening for seven days. Mr Chowdhury said that they withdrew their strike for seven days but if the government failed to bring back normalcy in the market within seven days, they will go tougher.
