CHITTAGONG, Mar 19: Investors of multilevel marketing company Unipay2U faced obstruction from the police today as they wanted to organise a meeting at a community centre in the city without prior permission from the law enforcers. Over one thousand investors were dispersed by the police from the Woodland Park in front of Sholashahar Railway Station in the morning. Earlier, the metropolitan police took position inside the park under Panchlaish police station and asked the agitating investors and the organisers of the MLM Company not to hold any meeting without permission from the police. The investors moved away from the venue area and held a meeting in the Forest Research Institute High School ground at around 11am. The investors urged the government to allow operation of the company as a substantial amount of money taken from the public has been stuck up with the Unipay2U. President of Council for Protection of the Traders Interest of the Unipay2U, Chittagong Mir Monwar Ali, Abdur Rahman and Jamal Uddin addressed the rally.
