Iqbal Mahmud made BTRC Chairman

The government has appointed senior secretary Iqbal Mahmud chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) for three years.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday, a news agency report said.
The three-year term of Iqbal Muahmud, who was on Post Retirement Leave (PRL), will be counted from the day he takes over the charge, said the circular.
Iqbal Mahmud will replace Sunil Kanti Bose whose tenure expires on October 22.
