Iqbal re-elected vice chair of AIBL

Mr SM Shameem Iqbal has been re-elected vice chairman of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL). He was re-elected at the 273rd meeting of the board of directors of the bank held in the city recently, said a press release.
Mr Iqbal will continue his assigned responsibility until the next annual general meeting (AGM) of the bank. He is a former director of National Bank Ltd., the first private bank of Bangladesh.
In his long career, Mr Iqbal has established a number of industries in the fields of garments, textiles and trims and packaging.  He is also engaged in real estate and other technology-driven businesses.
