Iran keen to open Bangla Language course at TU

Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique has been invited to visit Tehran University (TU) and help open Bangla language course there very soon.
Iranian Ambassador in Bangladesh Hossein Aminian Jousi made the invitation while he called on DU VC at the latter's office in the city Thursday, said a press release.
The ambassador was accompanied by Mohammad Oraei Karimi, cultural counsellor of Iranian Embassy.
During the meeting, they also discussed matters of mutual interest specially the existing joint programmes between DU and TU.
They discussed the possibilities and opportunities to extend further Iranian cooperation and to help DU especially in the Department of Persian Language and Literature.
