TEHRAN, June 23 (AFP): Iran's atomic chief Ali Akbar Salehi said Wednesday that Tehran has produced more than 17 kilogrammes of 20 per cent enriched uranium, a sensitive atomic work that world powers want abandoned.
"We have so far produced more than 17 kilogrammes of 20 per cent enriched uranium and we can potentially produce five kilograms per month," Salehi said.
