Iranian team visits Dhaka EPZ

A four-member team led by Iranian Ambassador in Bangladesh Hassan Farazandeh visited Japanese owned Zipper Manufacturing Company M/s YKK Corporation and Bangladeshi Shanta Garments Factory in Dhaka EPZ recently.
The delegation expressed satisfaction on seeing the production oriented congenial atmosphere prevailing in the Dhaka Export Processing Zone.
Speaking on the occasion, Hassan Farazandeh appreciated that Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) was maintaining investment friendly peaceful production oriented atmosphere in the zones.
He also lauded the role of EPZ in the socio economic development of the country.
BEPZA Executive Chairman Ashraf Abdullah Yussuf was present on the occasion and described to the ambassador the activities of EPZs including package of incentives provided by BEPZA.
He expected that the delegation's cooperation would bring Iranian investment in the EPZs of Bangladesh.
