Ireland\\\'s trade surplus at lowest level since 2008

DUBLIN, Jan 17: Ireland's trade surplus in November last year fell 15 per cent to just over 2.5 billion euros (3.4 billion US dollars), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) showed a decrease in seasonally adjusted exports of 327 million euros (-5 per cent) to 7 billion euro from October 2013, while seasonally adjusted imports increased by 132 million euros (+3 per cent) to 4.5 billion euro.
This is the lowest seasonally adjusted trade surplus since August 2008, the CSO said.
