ISLAMI BANK ACHIEVES DIGITAL BANKING SERVICES AWARD

Islami Bank Bangladesh achieved the Accessible Digital Banking Services Award for its significant role in providing disability-friendly banking services through the 'Cellfin' app. The prize was handed over in a programme organised by Aspire to Innovate (a2I) on the occasion of Global Accessibility Awareness Day on Thursday, May 15, at the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority auditorium. As the chief guest, Mr. Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, special assistant to the chief adviser at the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, handed over the award to Professor Dr. M. Masud Rahman, director of Islami Bank.
