Islami Bank trains officials in Musharaka bills

The International Banking Wing of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) recently organised a workshop on Musharaka Documentary Bills (MDB) at Mohammad Younus Auditorium of Islami Bank Tower in the city recently.
IBBL Executive Committee Chairman Mominul Islam Patwary was present as the chief guest of the workshop presided over by Deputy Executive President and Head of International Banking Wing Md Habibur Rahman.
The function was addressed, among others, by senior vice presidents Md Abdul Jalil and Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam. Officials of foreign business of the authorised dealer branches of Dhaka city participated at the workshop.
Mominul Islam expressed the hope that the new investment mode will play a significant role in Shari'ah compliance and providing standard service to the clients.
Habibur Rahman pointed out different aspects of the newly introduced investment mode and explained how this new mode could assist implementing Shari'ah in the banking activities.
