Islamic Banks Consultative Forum holds 29th meeting

The 29th meeting of Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF) was held at the Board Room of the Islami Bank Tower in the city recently, said a press release.
Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman of the Forum and Chairman, Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited presided over the meeting.
The meeting discussed different issues of Islamic banking including Inter Islami Bank Money Market. Six full- fledged Islami Banks and four traditional banks who have Islamic banking window are the members of the forum.
The meeting was attended, among others, by Md Nazrul Islam Mazumder, Vice- chairman of IBCF, Chairman, Bangladesh Association of Banks and Chairman of Exim Bank Ltd., Shah Abdul Hannan, Adviser of IBCF.
