Islamist parties: to ban or not to ban

We are surprised and we fail to understand that only a few days ago our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Islamist parties won't be banned. But on October 24, 2010 we the news media quoted our Law Minster Barrister as saying that Islamist parties will be automatically banned if the Constitution is reprinted in the light of Supreme Court interpretation.
Would our authorities concerned kindly clarify the matter in the interest of public service, political stability, democracy, peace and welfare of our millions of people?
