Ismail joins BKB as chairman

Mr Mohammad Ismail, a former bureaucrat who went on voluntary retirement, has joined Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) recently as the chairman of the board of directors of the bank, said a press release.
Prior to joining the BKB, Mr Ismail was an additional secretary of the government.
He also served government, semi-government and local bodies in various capacities.
Mr Ismail was the chairman and chief executive officer of Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) and chief controller of Imports & Exports.
He was also deputy commissioner (DC) in Bangladesh and district officer in East Timor under the UN.
