Ispahani gets Mother Teresa Int'l Award for excellence in sports, edn

Ispahani Tea Limited has achieved the prestigious 'International Mother Teresa Award 2024.'
Organised by the Mother Teresa International Award Committee, this esteemed recognition honours individuals and organisations globally for their significant contributions in various fields, says a press release.
In the 24th edition of the award, Ispahani Limited was acknowledged for its noteworthy contribution to sports and education in Bangladesh.
The award distribution ceremony was held on Friday, at St. James Auditorium in Kolkata.
Mirza Ahmed Ispahani, director of Ispahani Group, received the award on behalf of Ispahani Limited during the event.
The award was presented by Father Joy D. Suzha (Regional Education Commission, West Bengal and Sikkim).
At this moment, Mirza Ahmed Ispahani was handed a certificate, a commemorative plaque featuring Mother Teresa, and a shawl.
The event was attended by Dr TH Ireland, chairman of the Mother Teresa Award Committee, Almas Hossen (consul) from the Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh in Kolkata and Ranjan Sen (press secretary). Omar Hannan, the general manager of Ispahani Group, was also present at the event.
