Ispahani receives National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award 2020

Pahartali Textile and Hosiery Mills, an export-oriented venture of M. M. Ispahani Limited won the National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award 2020. The Managing Director of Ispahani Group, Mr. Shakir Ispahani received the award from Minister of Industries, Mr. Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun M.P, said a statement.
This award is distributed by the Ministry of Industries, and Ispahani achieved the second position in the Large Industry (Textile & RMG) category. The Ministry of Industries has awarded a total of 26 organizations for showing excellence in productivity and quality. The award-giving ceremony, arranged by the National Productivity Organization (NPO), was held in the capital's Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on Sunday.
The state minister for industries Mr. Kamal Ahmed Mojumdar M.P was also present at the event as the special guest. Secretary of the Ministry of Industries Mr. Zakia Sultana presided over the function.
Director of Ispahani Group, Ms. Zahida Ispahani, Chief Operating Officer of Pahartali Textile and Hosiery Mills Mr. Mahbubul Alam were also present at the event.
Previously, Ispahani Tea Limited, another concern of Ispahani Group won the first position in the Large Industry (Food) category of the 'National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award 2019'.
It is to be noted that, by producing various types of yarn as raw material for the export-oriented garment industry, Pahartali Textile and Hosiery Mills continue to make a significant contribution to the country's foreign currency earnings.
