Ispahani School holds annual sports, cultural programme

Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School celebrated the annual sports and cultural programme at Pahartali in Chittagong recently.
Mirza Salman Ispahani, Member of Bangladesh Cricket Board, Vice-President of Bhatiary Golf and Country Club, Chittagong, Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association, Consul for Italy in Chittagong, Managing Director of Ispahani Group and Chairman of school managing committee adorned the occasion as the chief guest. Headmaster-cum-member secretary of the school S.M. Mujibur Rahman, presided over the programme.
Mirza Salman Ispahani opened the sports competition in the morning. Mahbubul Alam, general manager -Pahartali Textile and Hosiery' Mills and Vice-Chairman, School Managing Committee, N. U. M. Humayun, Santanu Biswas and Md. Golam Mostafa, general managers of M.M. Ispahani Ltd., Engr. Golam Mustafa Ex- Vice- chairman of the SMC, Dr. Md. Monirul Islam Manager-PTHM and Member of the SMC, Sultan Ahmed Manager-PTHM and Member of the SMC, Sowkat Sadek Manager- PTHM and Member of the SMC, Chakmal Hossain Junior Officer-PTHM and Member of the SMC, Abu Jafar Chowdhury General Secretary, CBA- PTHM and Member of the SMC were, among others, present on the occasion. Senior Teacher Kamrunnesa, Abul Kalam Azad and Nripesh Baran Sen jointly conducted the sports and display programme. Besides, Senior Teacher Arpita Ghosh and Ashish Kumar Das announced the programme. A colourful cultural programme was organised with the participation of the students at evening.
