ISPR urges caution over commenting about Armed Forces

Monday, 9 February 2015

The Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) requested Sunday all concerned to take enough cautionary steps before making any comment or presenting any sort of information about the Armed Forces, reports UNB.
In a press release, the ISPR said some media houses are presenting assumption-based and fictitious information or comments about the Armed Forces.
"Such assumption-based and concocted information or comments presentation is unwanted, which may create confusion in public mind," the release said.
It said the Armed Forces is a patriotic organisation, which is fully respectful of the country's Constitution and laws. "Under the circumstances, we request for taking enough cautionary steps before making any comment or presenting any sort of information regarding the Armed Forces," the release added.
