Israeli forces kill three Palestinians

JENIN (Palestinian Territories), June 17 (AFP): Three Palestinians were killed Friday morning in an operation by Israeli forces in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, according to a report from Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The three men were killed when Israeli forces have increased their operations in the area in recent months, opened fire on the vehicle in which the men were travelling. "Fierce clashes" were happening in the area at the time, according to Wafa.
About 30 Israeli military vehicles raided Jenin in the early hours of Friday and surrounded a car in al-Marah area in the east of the city, firing shots at four men sitting inside.
Palestinian news agency Wafa named the men killed as Baraa Lahlouh (24), Yusuf Salah (23) and Laith Abu Suroor (24).
