IT fair begins Feb 26

The annual computer fair of Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) will begin at IDB Bhaban in the city from February 26 with an expectation to marketing accessories over Tk 1.0 billion (100 crore), reports BSS.
A total of 156 permanent stalls along with 10 other IT based non-profitable organisations will showcase their products in the nine-day fair styled 'City IT-2009' organised by the authorities of BCS.
In this connection, a press conference was held at the National Press Club in the city Monday. President of BCS Mozibur Rahman Swapon and convener of the fair ASM Abdul Muktadir spoke on the occasion.
Entry fee of the fair is Tk 10. But, students in specific uniforms of their educational institutions and disabled people could visit the fair free of cost.
