Italian company to set up joint venture industry

A representative delegation of Italian business house Maschio Gaspardo SpA called on Pubali Bank Ltd Managing Director-cum-CEO Helal Ahmed Chowdhury in the city recently.
Egiclio Maschio led the team comprising Tatjana Nikolajewba Gegg, Stefano Paoloni and Mario Ranucci.
Maschio Gaspardo SpA is the manufacturer of world renowned Maschio Rotary Tiller, Terranova and other cultivators and marketing those in Bangladesh with the assistance of their sole distributor The Metal (Pvt) Limited.
The Metal Managing Director Sadid Jamil and General Manager (international division) Syed Mohammad Masum were also present at the meeting.
They discussed various matters related to their future investment plan of setting up a joint venture industry in Bangladesh to manufacture their products.
Helal Ahmed stressed on rendering better customer services to build a strong economic base. Pubali Bank played an important role providing syndicate loan jointly with other banks, he added.
The Pubali Bank MD also assured continued support to local and foreign entrepreneurs and industries.
