IU Asstt Proctor suspended for harassing female student

KUSHTIA, Jan 20 (UNB): Assistant Proctor of Islamic University (IU) Mohammad Asaduzzaman has been suspended on charge of harassing a female student.
The victim, a 2nd semester student of Finance and Banking Department of IU, on January 16, lodged a written complaint with vice-chancellor Prof M Alauddin Ahmed against Asaduzzaman, also lecturer of the same department.
Saiful, personal secretary to VC, Thursday night over cell phone told journalists that Asaduzzaman has been suspended following a meeting of IU administration the same night as the matter was divulged to journalists.
