IU suspends section officer

The Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia suspended a section officer for violating the university's rules and regulations on Tuesday, reports UNB.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the university's efficiency and disciplinary committee with Vice-Chancellor Professor Rashid Askari in the chair, sources at IU registrar office said.
Oliur Rahman alias Setu worked as a section officer of Establishment Section.
He was arrested with 20 Yaba pills from Baliapara village in Kushtia sadar on Monday.
