IUB holds law students’ research conference

The School of Law of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organised the "3rd IUB Undergraduate Law Students' Research Conference" on the university campus recently, with participation from 20 universities across the country, says a press release.
The conference focused on contemporary legal issues through research paper presentations and panel evaluations.
A total of 56 papers were submitted by students from eight public and 12 private universities, of which 40 were selected for presentation.
The papers covered topics including structural discrimination, cyber law, artificial intelligence, environmental crises, constitutional reform, stray animal protection, and digital rights.
Borhan Uddin Khan, adviser to the School of Law, attended the inaugural session as the chief guest.
Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman, Head of the Department of Law, delivered the welcome address, while Dean of the School of Law Mohammad Nazmuzzaman Bhuian also spoke at the session.
