IUB holds seminar

A seminar on "Accreditation and Quality Assurance: Prospects and Challenges" was organised by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) on its Bashundhara campus in the city on Monday, according to a press release.
Prominent writer Prof Syed Manzoorul Islam was present as the chief guest while Dr Gauranga Chandra Mohanta, project director of HEQEP, was the special guest at the seminar.
IUB Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof M Omar Rahman presided over the function.
The seminar was conducted by Dr Mahbub Alam, director of IQAC and Dean, School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences of IUB. Members of Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) and Self-Assessment Committees (SACs) were present at the seminar.
