IUBAT, USIM sign MoU to extend cooperation

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) of Malaysia and the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) of Bangladesh to extend cooperation on all academic and institutional matters, reports UNB.
Prof Dato Dr Mohamad Muda, Vice-Chancellor of USIM and Prof Dr M Alimullah Miyan, the Founder and Vice- Chancellor of IUBAT signed the MoU Tuesday on behalf of their respective universities, said a release Thursday.
This MoU has been signed in accordance with the principles of friendship, equality and mutual benefit to strengthen friendship ties and to further mutual understanding between Malaysia and the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
This agreement includes exchange of professors, selection of examiners, credit transfer, holding seminars and conferences , joint publications, enriching global Muslim outreach network, management of halal foods and establishment of Islamic banking.
