iVAS to remain shut for 96hrs from 7am Dec 19

Automated VAT system of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) would remain shut for 96 hours from 7.0 am on December 19 to shift the network.
Vendor BDCom Online Limited would take over the network system from previous vendor Access Telecom (BD) limited and make it fully online on December 23, said a statement.
The Integrated VAT System (iVAS) is used by the businesses which would face some disruptions during the period.
iVAS team, software vendor organisation FPT IS Company Limited, Access Telecom (BD) Ltd and BDCom is working in a coordinated manner to transfer the network and DNS.
The NBR requested the taxpayers, VAT officials and other stakeholders concerned to complete necessary work related to the iVAS before or after the shutdown period.
