Ivy on 2-day remand

NARAYANGANJ, May 25 (UNB): A Narayanganj court has placed Selina Hayat, former mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC), on a two-day remand in a case filed with Siddhirganj Police Station.
Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Nur Mahsin passed the order on Sunday after police produced her before the court with a seven-day remand prayer, said court inspector Kaiyum Khan.
Police arrested Ivy from her residence on May 9 in connection with the murder of Minarul during student movement.
