Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy has expressed her disappointment over handling of the cases of abductions in Narayanganj city and the other parts of the district and the delay in recording the condition of dead bodies of the abductees. Her disappointment came hours after the bodies of NCC councillor and panel mayor Nazrul Islam and five others were recovered in Bandar Upazila on Wednesday afternoon, a couple of days after seven people, including Nazrul and a lawyer, were abducted in broad daylight in Narayanganj, according to a news agency.
