BASIC Bank Limited Managing Director AH Ekbal Hossain submitted his resignation from contractual employment of the bank on personal grounds Monday last.
His resignation was accepted by the board of directors at its 222nd meeting held on the same day.
Subsequently, the board entrusted Md Abdul Jabber, senior most general manager (on deputation), with the additional charge of managing director of the bank.
