Monday, 13 August 2007

'Jago Bangladesh' UK branch, a non- party forum of Bangladeshi emigrants has urged all expatriates for extending their hand in aid to the flood affected people of Bangladesh, reports BSS.
The call was made at a meeting of the forum at East London in the UK on Thursday, a press release said here today.
The meeting was chaired by joint convener of the forum Muhammad Muhibur Rahman and moderated by member secretary Mahbub Rahman.
"If the expatriates help the Bangladesh government according to their ability, the country will not require any foreign assistance to carry on the relief work," Muhibur told the expatriates.
