Jamaat activists killed in clash with AL men

SIRAJGANJ, Apr 10 (UNB): A local activist of Jamaat-e-Islami was killed and 13 other people were injured in a clash between the Awami League (AL) men and them at Chardhuligari village in Belkuchi Upazila Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Alamgir Hossain, 35, son of Jamir Uddin of the village.
Police and locals said some Jamaat activists had an altercation with some AL men over the results of the upazila election at the village at around 9:30pm and at one stage, they beat up an AL man at that time.
