RANGPUR, Oct 14 (BSS): President of Workers’ Party of Bangladesh (WPB) Rashed Khan Menon said the Jama'at-BNP alliance had been trying to save the war criminals from being tried by hatching conspiracies at home and abroad.

Menon was addressing the Party's Rangpur divisional convention as chief guest in Rangpur Police Community Hall Wednesday.
WPB arranged the function demanding reestablishing of the 1972 Constitution and trial of the war criminals.
Chaired by WPB president of the district unit Nazrul Islam Hokkani, it was addressed by Fazle Hossain Badsha, MP, Tipu Munshi, MP, and WPB Secretary Shakhawat Hossain Ranga as special guests.
A large number of leaders and workers of the party from all eight districts under Rangpur division took part in the convention.
