Sunday, 21 October 2007

Jamaat-e-Islami Saturday expressed profound shock at the deaths in suicide bomb attack on the supporters of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on return of its leader Benazir Bhutto to Karachi from long exile abroad Friday night, reports UNB.
Jamaat Ameer Matiur Rahman Nizami in a message said such barbarous bomb attack was against humanity, democracy and rule of law.
"There is no language to condemn this cowardice and cruel attack", he said. The suicide attack has left 140 people dead and more than 500 injured.
Nizami expressed the hope that Pakistan government would bring the attackers to book and punish them after investigating the incident.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and expressed sympathy for the bereaved families.
