Jamaat leader held in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, June 22 (UNB): Police arrested a local leader of Jamaat-e-Islami from Debnagar village in Sadar upazila on Monday morning.
The arrested was identified as Maulana Zafarullah, president of Debnagar ward unit of Jamaat.
Emdad Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Sadar thana, said on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid at the house of Zafarullah in the area and arrested him at about 9:00 am.
