Jamaat submits signatures of 15m demanding release of Khaleda, Nizami

Jamaat-e-Islami has demanded immediate release of all the detained political leaders, including its Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, reports UNB
In support of their demand, a 20-member Jamaat delegation, led by its secretary general Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid, submitted signatures of around 14.9 million people to Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed at his office Tuesday.
An official of the CA's office on behalf of the Chief Adviser received the signatures collected from across the country from June 1 to June 15.
The delegation members included Moulana Muhammad Adbus Subhan, Moulana Delwar Hossain Saidee, Muhammad Quamruzzaman, Abdul Kader Mollah and ATM Azharul Islam.
