Moroccan striker Jamal Nakhli's double strike powered Sheikh Russell KC to an emphatic 4-1 goals win over Feni Soccer Club in the lone encounter of the Citycell Bangladesh League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city Monday, reports UNB.
With this result, Sheikh Russell KC secured 50 points from 23 matches while Soccer Club Feni remained at 29 points from 22 outings.
In the day's match, Nakhli struck twice in the 11th and 63rd minutes while another Moroccan Salah Maslouh and Mohammad Ronny netted one goal each in the 43rd and 90th plus (90+1) minutes respectively for Sheikh Russell.
Monowar Khan Raju scored the consolation goal for Feni Soccer Club in the 40th minute.
Today's match: Farashganj SC against Abahani Limited (BNS at 4:00 pm).
