JAMUNA BANK AWARDED AS BEST CLIMATE-FOCUSED BANKS

Jamuna Bank PLC has been awarded as one of the 'Best Climate-Focused Banks & Financial Institutions' in Bangladesh, at the 3rd session of the 24th National Renewals Energy Conference & Green Expo 2024. The Institute of Energy, University of Dhaka, and GreenTech Foundation hosted the conference at Nabab Nawab Ali Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka, on May 22-23. Md Prashanta Samir, Senior Vice President & Head of Sustainable Finance Unit, received the award on behalf of Jamuna Bank PLC. Charles Whiteley, Ambassador & Head of Delegation of European Union to Bangladesh, Achim Troster, Ambassador of Germany, Alex Berg Von Linde, Ambassador of Sweden, Dr Atiur Rahman, former governor of Bangladesh Bank, and Dr Habibur Rahman, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, attended the programme as special guests.
