Jamuna Bank holds workshop in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Nov 26: A daylong workshop on 'Anti-money laundering and terrorism financing' was held under the auspices of Jamuna Bank Ltd Chittagong region in the city Tuesday.
While inaugurating the workshop as the chief guest, Jamuna Bank Chairman of Md Tajul Islam underscored the need for organising workshop of similar nature from time to time for ensuring fair and healthy activities of the banking institutions.
The seminar was presided over by AKM Saifuddin Ahmad.
Bangladesh Bank Chittagong region General Manager SK Sur Chowdhury, Jamuna Bank Agrabad Branch Manager Md Jobaidul Islam and Khatungonj Branch Manager Monjurul Ahsan Chowdhury spoke on the occasion, among others.
A total number of 140 officials including branch managers of Jamuna Bank took part in the workshop.
